Description

Design, develop, test, and integrate components for the Transfer Agency Investor Onboarding system. You will support business analysts on user stories and acceptance criteria, resolve issues in test and production, and improve technical specifications and documentation. You’ll participate in system and UAT testing and help create deployment and checkout scripts.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and testing of onboarding system components

• Collaborate with business analysts on user stories and acceptance criteria

• Integrate in-house systems with vendor solutions

• Resolve issues found during testing and in production systems

• Enhance technical specifications and documentation (e.g., data modeling, dataflow diagrams, screen design, workflow analysis)

• Participate in the design process and in system & UAT testing

• Create deployment and checkout scripts for the solution

• Work with project managers, developers, testers, and other specialists across multiple teams and locations

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science

• Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming and design patterns

• Practical application of SOLID principles

• Java experience for multi-tier, service-oriented web applications (Spring MVC / Spring Boot)

• Experience with JMS, JPA, and JAX-*

• Web services experience (SOAP and/or REST)

• Basic understanding of data modeling principles

• Ability to write clean, modular code with replaceable layers/modules

• Skills to design code for unit testing

• Practical understanding of relational database technologies

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• English fluency, including ease of communication on the telephone

• Experience in one or more agile software methodologies

• Positive attitude and openness to change; ability to grasp the big picture quickly
