Description

In this long-term initiative, you will build OCR and IDP solutions and AI-driven automation within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. You will design scalable data pipelines, extract information from documents (receipts, invoices, surveys/forms), and integrate results into enterprise systems. You will also combine OCR with NLP/text analytics and sentiment analysis to support new automation opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data processing solutions in Azure
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Databricks and Azure Synapse Analytics
• Develop OCR-based solutions for automated document processing
• Integrate extracted data with enterprise applications and reporting systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities
• Participate in architecture discussions and apply DataOps best practices
• Support implementation of AI and Machine Learning initiatives

Requirements

• Proven commercial experience as a Data Engineer or AI Engineer
• Hands-on Azure ecosystem experience: Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake
• Experience with OCR/IDP or Azure AI Document Intelligence
• Solid knowledge of NLP, text analytics, and processing multilingual documents
• Strong SQL skills (including SQL Server and BI stack: SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
• Deep understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, data mining, and DataOps methodologies
• Exposure to machine learning projects and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
• Excellent English communication skills
