Description

You will design, develop, automate, and run scalable data pipelines for both batch and real-time processing, helping to continuously improve the cloud-based data platform. Working with Microsoft Azure and Databricks, you will build ingestion, ETL, Data Mart, and Data Lake solutions and ensure data quality, availability, and performance through monitoring and automation. You’ll also support migration to a new platform and help mentor junior Data Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on the data roadmap with Data Scientists, analysts, and business teams, and deliver it

• Design, develop, and automate scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time processing

• Enhance the cloud-based data platform using Microsoft Azure and Databricks

• Build and optimize data ingestion, ETL pipelines, Data Marts, and Data Lake solutions

• Ensure data quality, availability, and performance through monitoring, automation, and best practices

• Support migration to a new data platform

• Own the reliable operation of existing data solutions and troubleshoot technical issues

• Work closely with local and international data teams; actively contribute within the Data Community

• Support and mentor junior Data Engineers and help define engineering standards and best practices

Requirements

• Experience in data engineering, including development and operations of modern data pipelines

• Practical ETL experience with batch and real-time data processing

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Databricks

• Knowledge of Data Lakes, Datamarts, and modern data architectures

• Understanding of data quality, monitoring, and stable production operations

• Comfortable collaborating with Data Scientists, analysts, business stakeholders, and international teams

• Independent, solution-oriented working style with willingness to take responsibility

• Fluent English

• Willingness to share knowledge and develop colleagues
