Description

You will design, develop, configure, test, and operate Microsoft-based integrations for enterprise applications, ensuring reliable, end-to-end data flows. The role focuses on building integrations using APIs, events, file transfers, and ETL, and maintaining production stability through monitoring, alerting, error analysis, and restart procedures. You will also support changes, releases, tests, go-lives, and migrations with integration impact and traceability in Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Document the interface landscape (source, target, data objects, process context, criticality, responsibilities, and operating model) and keep data-flow information current.

• Build and run integrations using established Microsoft technologies (APIs, events, file transfers, ETL pipelines).

• Ensure dependable productive data flows through monitoring, alerting, structured error handling, and operational documentation.

• Support changes/releases, tests, go-lives, and migrations with integration impact; provide technical evidence and traceability in Azure DevOps.

• Assess integration impacts of requirements and develop technical solutions from standard integration/configuration to further development.

• Work on productive data flows between enterprise applications, platforms, partners, and data consumers; enable reliable processing and recovery.

• Analyze recurring issues in second-level support, align with business teams, and maintain a backlog with improvements.

• Coordinate external implementation partners for interface topics and ensure test, acceptance, and operating evidence.

Requirements

• Degree in (Business) Informatics, IT training with relevant experience, or comparable qualification

• First to several years of experience with system integration, interface operations, or data flows (ideally corporate/ERP-adjacent)

• Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, data formats, synchronous/asynchronous integration patterns, authentication, and mapping

• Experience with Microsoft Azure Integration Services (API Management, Logic Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Data Factory) plus SQL Server and SSIS

• Knowledge of Dataverse, Power Platform, and Microsoft Fabric is beneficial

• Programming skills in C#, .NET, PowerShell, or Python are desirable

• Structured working style and ability to document, including business-process impact, root causes, and safe restart

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other ERP systems

• Ability to explain technical topics to business stakeholders and IT/external teams

• German proficiency and English at least B2 (CEFR)
