Description

You will support stable, secure, and high-performing IBM i (AS/400) environments. The role includes installation, configuration, ongoing administration, system monitoring and performance analysis, and independent troubleshooting. You will also manage High Availability and replication, perform upgrades/patches, handle user and access administration, and collaborate with other IT teams while keeping technical documentation up to date.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer IBM i (AS/400) environments
• Monitor systems and analyze performance
• Diagnose errors and resolve complex technical issues
• Administer High Availability and replication
• Plan and implement upgrades, patches, and other system changes
• Manage users, permissions, and access
• Support high availability and business continuity activities
• Prepare and keep technical documentation updated
• Cooperate with other IT teams to maintain and develop the IBM i environment

Requirements

• Completed vocational or higher education in IT or related field
• Solid professional experience in IBM i (AS/400) administration
• Practical knowledge of IBM i system administration
• Experience in IBM i performance analysis and optimization
• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve problems
• Attention to detail and responsibility in daily work
• Independent and engaged approach to tasks
