Description

Design, train, and productionize machine learning models for real-time Robotaxi pricing. Develop elasticity, conversion, and competitive-response models to set base fare and dynamic route/session pricing while protecting rider trust with fairness guardrails. Build low-latency inference and experimentation/monitoring pipelines to continuously improve pricing and support global market expansion.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and productionize pricing ML models (base fare, distance/time, demand, traffic, tolls, taxes, government fees, location-specific surcharges)
• Build price-elasticity, conversion, and competitive-response models
• Develop dynamic, contextual pricing with logical guardrails for quote fairness and rider trust
• Productionize ML and optimization pipelines (feature engineering, training, low-latency inference, experimentation, monitoring, rollback)
• Analyze ride sessions, costs, and competitor prices to improve the pricing stack
• Support global expansion with market-specific fees and event/airport scenarios
• Partner with growth and profitability teams to scale fleet economics

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operations Research, Economics, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years developing and deploying ML models and pricing/marketplace algorithms in large-scale production environments
• Proficiency in Python and at least one of Go, C++, Java, or Scala
• Experience building backend distributed systems and low-latency, user-facing services
• Experience with deep learning, causal machine learning, and/or reinforcement learning for pricing or real-time decisioning
• Strong experimentation instincts and first-principles economics
• Ability to solve open-ended, difficult technical problems with little guidance
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration

$172,000 - $258,000 annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
