Description

You will join an Agile team to design, develop, and implement machine learning applications at scale. Responsibilities include ML architectural design, writing and reviewing model and application code, and ensuring high availability and performance. You will also support continuous learning and adoption of new ML engineering best practices.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver ML models/components for real-world business problems

• Use ML knowledge to inform infrastructure decisions, including choice of model, data, and features

• Develop and validate ML models, perform training and hyperparameter tuning, and apply validation practices

• Solve complex problems by writing and testing application code, automating tests, and deploying ML solutions

• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and engineering teams to create and enhance big data and ML software

• Retrain, maintain, and monitor models in production

• Leverage or build cloud-based architectures and platforms to deliver optimized ML models at scale

• Construct optimized data pipelines to feed ML models

• Apply CI/CD best practices with test automation and monitoring

• Ensure secure, well-managed code and model governance aligned with Responsible and Explainable AI

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

• 4+ years of programming with Python, Scala, or Java (internship experience does not apply)

• 3+ years designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with industry-recognized ML frameworks (scikit-learn, PyTorch, Dask, Spark, or TensorFlow)

• 1+ year of production experience productionizing, monitoring, and maintaining models
