Description

Join the Cell Data Team to build the database pipeline that stores battery test data. You will extract data from battery cyclers, transform voltage/time signals into meaningful battery measurements, and load results into data storage layers so decisions about battery technologies can be made faster and with greater confidence.

Responsibilities

• Write modular Python code to transform high-density current/voltage/time data into battery decision metrics
• Interface with battery testers
• Build reliable, maintainable, and scalable data pipelines
• Leverage APIs to fetch battery cell metadata and gracefully handle external API disruptions
• Design metrics around data-pipeline performance
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define MVP and future product iterations
• Provide mentorship and conduct code reviews for junior engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience using Docker
• Experience with unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests
• Experience reading from and creating relational databases
• Experience extracting, loading, and transforming large data sets
• Experience building distributed systems

Expected Compensation

$120,000 - $216,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
