ProjectWe are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with strong C/C++ experience and knowledge of Android-based embedded systems to join a globally distributed automotive engineering team.You will contribute to the development of the next generation of Android-based infotainment head units for leading automotive manufacturers. The role covers the full software lifecycle, from requirements and design through implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.You willDevelop software for next-generation Android-based automotive infotainment systems.Work with a globally distributed team on automotive user experience solutions.Develop software from initial requirements and concept through production implementation and lifecycle support.Analyse and troubleshoot software issues, perform root cause analysis and implement fixes.Modify and optimise existing software, including porting it to new hardware.Improve software performance and non-functional requirementsDevelop software tests and supporting tools using PythonContribute to and improve CI/CD workflowsCollaborate with third-party suppliers to ensure high-quality software delivery.Participate in an Agile software development process.Must haveProfessional experience in embedded software developmentExtensive hands-on experience with C/C++ for embedded systemsKnowledge of Android architecture and Android toolchainStrong independent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExperience with software design methodologies and modern software quality standardsExperience developing software tests and tools with PythonExperience working with CI/CD processesExperience working in an Agile development environmentFluent in English and Polish Nice to haveHands-on experience with the Linux KernelExperience with microcontrollers, SoCs and ARM processorsKnowledge of peripheral interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C and USBKnowledge of automotive diagnostics and networks such as CAN or SOME/IPExperience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)Knowledge of Functional Safety and ASPICE/SPICE processesExperience working with third-party automotive suppliersOur offerRelocation package (4500 PLN total value), paid in three installments (1500 PLN per month) in case your permanent presence in the office is mandatory and you need to relocate from another city.Benefits: Extended medical care (over 2000 medical facilities in Poland, 80 in Kraków) for you and your family; Multisport Benefit card; life insurance
