Description

Take ownership of critical embedded software components for camera-based security devices. You’ll maintain existing products through debugging and bug fixing, and develop new features while optimizing performance for resource-constrained environments. You will collaborate with QA and cross-functional teams and contribute to architecture and technical decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded software in C++ for camera-based security devices

  • Debug and resolve complex software, hardware, and network connectivity issues across the stack

  • Develop new features and improve existing codebases

  • Optimize software performance for embedded, resource-constrained systems

  • Perform code reviews and mentor team members

  • Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making

  • Collaborate with QA on testing strategies

  • Document software designs, APIs, libraries, and troubleshooting procedures

Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial embedded development experience

  • Strong C++ expertise (C++17)

  • Deep knowledge of RTOS and microcontroller architectures (ARM, RISC-V)

  • Proficiency in full SDLC practices (Git, CMake, code reviews, continuous integration)

  • Network programming knowledge

  • Experience with multithreading on multicore microcontrollers

  • Expertise with I2C, SPI, UART, and Wi-Fi; ability to write device drivers and libraries

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership

  • Excellent skills for technical communication and documentation (English B1)
