Description

You will work on the development of an Energy Management System (EMS) that controls and optimizes the operation of photovoltaic power plants, battery storage, and other energy devices. The role involves programming PLC logic in Tecomat Foxtrot using Structured Text (IEC 61131), building control algorithms, and supporting testing, code review, and deployment into real operations.

Responsibilities

• Program PLC systems (Tecomat Foxtrot) in Structured Text (IEC 61131)
• Develop and expand control logic for the EMS
• Design algorithms for controlling photovoltaic plants, battery storage, and other energy technologies
• Optimize and implement predictive control for energy systems
• Test, perform code review, and deploy solutions to production/real operations
• Collaborate with development and technical teams on further product improvements

Requirements

• Experience with PLC programming
• Proficiency in Structured Text according to IEC 61131
• Good understanding of industrial automation and control systems
• Ability to independently design technical solutions
• Fluent Czech and English communication (minimum B2 in English)
• Experience with Tecomat Foxtrot
• Experience in energy domain: photovoltaics (FVE) or battery storage
