Description

You will design PLC solutions for upcoming projects, including control algorithms, memory layout, and alarm systems. The job includes communication and integration with visualization/HMI and operator panels, configuring remote and distributed I/O, testing connections, and debugging both individual program parts and the full application with suppliers. You will also prepare maintenance and training documentation and train maintenance staff and operators.

Responsibilities

• Design PLC solutions and programming approach for customer projects

• Develop and analyze algorithms for the full process, including memory area layout and decomposition into submodules

• Propose and implement an alarm system

• Communicate with visualization, operator panels, and surrounding systems

• Test communication quality

• Configure PLC, remote I/O, and distributed I/O

• Perform I/O tests and debug program modules and the complete application (in cooperation with mechanical suppliers)

• Create maintenance and operating documentation (manuals, descriptions, etc.)

• Write training materials and tests

• Train maintenance and operators on machine operation

• Cooperate with other departments (inputs for offers, suggestions for additional work, PLC configuration in project assembly)

• Ensure regular backup saves of PLC programs
