Role: Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (2 day shifts, 2 night shifts) followed by 4 days off

Location: Office in the wider center of Prague

Description

Join the Security Operations Centre team to actively monitor and respond to cybersecurity events. You will work with analysts on investigations, prepare reporting materials, test detection rules, and follow cybersecurity trends. The position is also suitable for technical high school graduates.

Responsibilities

• Active monitoring and handling of security events in SIEM
• Cooperate with analysts during investigations of security events and incidents
• Prepare inputs for reporting from security tools
• Monitor and evaluate cybersecurity trends
• Test new detection rules for cyber threats

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of information technology and interest in cybersecurity
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Windows OS
• Basic knowledge of Linux/UNIX, firewalls, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN
• Teamwork and effective communication skills
• Time flexibility for the shift schedule
• Basic English knowledge
• Czech language proficiency at native speaker level
