Description

You will develop and maintain backend applications and the related integrations in a Linux-based environment. The role includes working with PostgreSQL, participating in integration/performance testing, administering Linux at a basic level, and writing Lua scripts for Nginx/OpenResty. Collaboration with DevOps and SysAdmin teams is required for deployments.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend applications in Kotlin (or Java)
• Work with PostgreSQL (simple queries, triggers)
• Maintain and develop integrations with a JavaScript/TypeScript frontend
• Participate in application testing (integration and performance)
• Perform basic Linux administration (diagnostics, network, processes)
• Work with Nginx/OpenResty (write Lua scripts)
• Cooperate with DevOps and SysAdmin teams on application deployments

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of Kotlin or Java
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
• Ability to work with SQL databases (PostgreSQL)
• Experience working on Linux (commands, processes, basics of networking)
• Willingness to learn and work with new technologies (Lua, OpenResty)
