Description

You will develop and improve the CUDA driver, a core component enabling general-purpose GPU computation across a growing set of workloads. The role spans pre-silicon simulation/emulation, early silicon bring-up, and production feature deployment—working with hardware and software teams to develop, debug, and deploy driver functionality on GPU and mobile SoC devices. You’ll also help architect new CUDA features and contribute to future improvements to CUDA APIs and the programming model.

Responsibilities

• Develop software on pre-silicon simulation/emulation environments

• Own and drive CUDA enablement for new silicon and architecture

• Collaborate with SW, HW, and related teams to stabilize and productize CUDA features for new chips and systems

• Architect and implement new features and contribute to bringing up CUDA on new chips

• Help define forward-looking improvements to CUDA APIs and the programming model across multiple teams

• Write maintainable, well-tested code and develop for multiple operating systems

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

• 2+ years of relevant systems software development experience

• Strong C programming skills; knowledge of parallel programming

• Excellent understanding of computer system architectures

• Experience with OS interfaces for threads, process control, and virtual memory

• Experience writing and debugging multithreaded programs

• Experience with large codebases

• Strong written communication and collaboration skills

Benefits

• Base salary range: $124,000–$195,500 (based on location and experience)
