Description

You will join AWS’s design engineering team to support structural design for AWS data center (DC) facilities across the Americas region. As a Structural Engineer, you will act as a subject matter expert—providing technical guidance, reviewing milestone drawings by consultants, solving large-scale implementation issues, and owning structural design requirements.

Requirements

• Professional Engineer (PE) license

• 7+ years of structural design experience for industrial or commercial projects

• 5+ years designing data center or mission critical facilities (and similar facility types such as hospitals, schools, commercial, or residential towers)

• Proficiency in building codes, regulations, and standards, including IBC and ASCE
