Description

You will take ownership of a food and recipe catalog as a data product—ensuring correct, complete, and consistent nutrition and item data across all markets. You will define how catalog items are created and categorized, standardize workflows and metadata/labels, and improve what users find through better search discoverability, ranking, and measured improvements. You’ll design and prioritize product features, automate manual admin work, and expand the catalog to new countries with a repeatable, standardized process.

Responsibilities

• Own data quality for the food and recipe database (accuracy, completeness, consistency)

• Set rules and standards for item creation, categorization, tagging, and nutrition attributes across markets

• Improve product search: discoverability, priority and ranking, and propose search algorithm improvements while measuring impact

• Plan and deliver product features for the food domain (create/edit items, compute nutrition values, automate manual processes)

• Evolve internal administration as a product (workflow, UI) in close cooperation with the administration lead

• Build metrics and KPIs for catalog quality and administration efficiency; create reporting in Looker and GA

• Evaluate which external data sources to include, assess delivered data quality, and define acceptance criteria

• Lead expansion of the catalog into additional countries using a repeatable process with predictable onboarding

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst with responsibility for outcomes on a data-intensive product

• Ability to structure quality for large datasets (data models, taxonomy, rules, deduplication, validation)

• Ability to write implementation-ready requirements for engineers and work as a partner with the technical team

• Experience working with BI/product analytics tools (Looker, GA or similar)

• Czech and English communication skills at work level

• Prefer office work in Hradec Králové for close team collaboration (hybrid acceptable)
