Description

Join an international team to develop modern open-source frameworks and cloud-native tools for microservices, containers, SQL, Kubernetes, and reverse proxy technologies. You will collaborate with product owners and business analysts to design and implement innovative features, contribute to standards, and create technical concepts and documentation. You’ll also stay up to date with new technologies and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and extend cloud-native frameworks and tools (microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, reverse proxies)
• Support design of new features with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders
• Implement and help further develop standards and related practices
• Create technical concepts and documentation
• Monitor and apply new technological developments and best practices

Requirements

• Completed studies in (business) computer science, mathematics, physics, or a comparable program
• Initial experience with Java and development environments such as Maven
• Familiarity with Git or Subversion and Jenkins (ideally)
• Knowledge of DevOps, continuous delivery, clean code, TDD, and agile methods
• Analytical, solution-oriented thinking
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Very good English communication skills (German is a plus)
• Openness to hybrid work with weekly visits in Katowice
