Description

The primary purpose of this role is to lead and enhance cloud-native systems within a Core Payments Platform, focusing on complex software development while mentoring junior developers.

You will develop and improve cloud-native systems essential for a major Nordic financial institution, with technical freedom to make and own decisions that enhance system performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve cloud-native systems essential for a major Nordic financial institution

• Leverage technical freedom to make and own decisions enhancing system performance

• Utilize technologies such as Java, Kafka, Elasticsearch, MS SQL, gRPC, REST, and Kubernetes

• Mentor junior team members and drive initiatives to refine development processes

• Collaborate with various departments to ensure software solutions meet business needs

Requirements (Must Haves)

• High proficiency in Java and tools supporting Java development

• Experience in developing and continuously improving cloud-native systems

• Strong ownership and responsibility in delivering structured solutions

• Experience with messaging systems, specifically Kafka and MQ

• Fluency in English and good communication skills
