Description

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and development of a law firm’s IT environment. This role combines Linux systems and infrastructure administration, server and network management, service monitoring, and technical support to ensure security and continuity. You will troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, support end users, and help implement new internal IT services and applications.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain IT systems, servers, infrastructure, and the network environment

• Manage Linux-based systems and services (stability, availability, performance)

• Monitor infrastructure, applications, and services; proactively identify issues and respond to incidents

• Troubleshoot issues across systems, servers, networks, applications, and user environments

• Provide IT/technical support for hardware, software, access, and system-related problems

• Support implementation, configuration, maintenance, and development of internal IT services and applications

• Own backup and recovery processes, system updates, patching, and ongoing infrastructure maintenance

• Support server and network administration, including connectivity troubleshooting

• Contribute to infrastructure and system security (access management, hardening, updates, monitoring)

• Create and maintain technical documentation (configurations, procedures, incidents, solutions)

• Independently troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with external vendors/technology partners when required

• Support business-critical IT services to help ensure continuous availability

Requirements

• Professional experience in IT systems administration, IT Operations, technical support, or a similar role

• Hands-on experience with Linux system administration

• Experience administering and troubleshooting servers, networks, and IT infrastructure

• Experience monitoring and maintaining production or business-critical systems and services

• Good understanding of networking and comfort troubleshooting infrastructure and connectivity issues

• Experience in IT Support/Technical Support and comfort working directly with end users

• Knowledge of backup and recovery processes, system updates, patching, and infrastructure maintenance

• Knowledge of IT security best practices, including access management and system hardening

• Ability to independently troubleshoot technical issues and take ownership through resolution

• Comfortable creating and maintaining clear technical documentation

• Good communication skills for both technical and non-technical users

• Ability to independently prioritize tasks and take ownership of the assigned IT environment

• Good command of English
