Description

You will work on AWS data center controls, maintaining and improving building management systems (BMS) and electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS). The role includes root-cause troubleshooting, corrective actions, commissioning support, and training internal stakeholders on BMS/EPMS design, configuration, validation, installation, and operations. You will also develop standards and processes in the controls space while managing BMS/EPMS projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot BMS and EPMS issues and perform root cause analysis or corrective actions

• Train and support internal customers/stakeholders for BMS and EPMS design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning, and operations

• Provide technical assistance to operations across the data center lifecycle

• Review quarterly maintenance results and action items for BMS/EPMS and drive resolution

• Develop BMS/EPMS project scope of work, schedule, budget, and level of effort (LOE)

• Manage scope, schedule, finance, and execution for BMS/EPMS improvement projects

• Support procurement activities (RFQs/RFPs/RFIs), review vendor proposals, and issue purchase orders

• Participate in a global on-call schedule for immediate BMS/EPMS technical support

• Coordinate project meetings, report status, and support commissioning activities

• Review/implement/troubleshoot/iterate on controls sequence of operation (SOO)

• Develop and modify controls logic programming and graphical user interfaces

• Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables and requirements

• Financially manage BMS/EPMS service contracts

• Visit in-operation data centers to troubleshoot, supervise vendor work, and ensure compliance with scope, design, SOO, and local codes

Requirements

• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, engineering technology or equivalent, or 5+ years of industrial controls and automation experience

• At least 2 years of industrial controls experience in a critical environment (data center, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, oil & gas, petrochemical, laboratory, power, water, etc.)

• Minimum 2 years in Controls or electrical construction project coordination with multiple teams or vendors

• ITAR compliance required
