Fintech Business Analyst

Description

You will join an ongoing fintech project as an experienced analyst who helps move it forward. You will gather and analyze customer needs, transform existing systems and processes into clear functional requirements for developers, and own the requirements lifecycle from initial analysis to documentation, acceptance testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Define functional system requirements through in-depth analysis of client needs and business activities
• Actively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across departments, technical and support teams, and the Product Owner
• Critically evaluate information from different sources and structure requirements based on the project roadmap
• Prepare specifications for developers, including use cases
• Support system/UI design; create basic mockups and collaborate with a UX specialist
• Support testing, change implementation, and training activities

Requirements

• Relevant experience in IT requirements analysis
• Proven background with fintech projects (banking, insurance, or investments)
• Experience with agile (time/material) development projects
• Strong analytical skills to interpret client needs and translate them into system requirements; ability to consider alternatives
• Ability to logically structure solutions and create diagrams/use cases
• Ability to communicate in English and improve over time
• Comfort working with stakeholders and organizing requirements toward delivery
• Enjoy working on projects across different industries
• Scrum experience is expected; UX/Design Thinking knowledge is a plus; Atlassian tooling experience is a plus
