Description

You will provide end-user support and administer a Cisco UCM telephony environment, helping standardize unified communications and ensure compliance with business process and security standards. The role includes handling relocations/additions/changes, maintaining and improving telephony service satisfaction, and supporting telephony billing. You may perform evening shift work, standby support, and occasional travel to remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide end user support for unified communications: collaborative applications, mobile devices, video terminals, and voice endpoints
• Perform relocations, additions, and changes to telephony services based on requests
• Maintain employee satisfaction for telephony services and proactively improve services as needed
• Provide billing services for telephony usage
• Maintain and/or provide documentation for unified communications processes and procedures
• Work according to scheduled evening shift and standby support; travel may be required
• Perform other unified communications projects and responsibilities as required

Requirements

• Experience with unified communications administration, support, and troubleshooting in a Cisco UCM telephony environment
• Experience with Microsoft Teams
• Experience configuring and administering VoIP phones and GSM handsets
• Experience with Cisco networks (routers, switches, gateways)
• Experience with updating Call Manager and other UC applications
• Knowledge of SIP, RTP, G.711 and G.729 codecs, DTMF, H323, and QoS
• Ability to work independently with strong system ownership
• Strong user resolution, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Collaboration skills and attention to detail
• Good English communication skills (written and oral); Czech is desirable
