Description

Lead and coordinate the day-to-day delivery of AI initiatives across internal teams and supplier-provided resources, while driving alignment with business and technology stakeholders. You will shape and execute the organisation’s AI roadmap through demand management, pipeline prioritization, governance, and measurable value realization. This role also monitors delivery performance, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage delivery cadence for AI initiatives

• Coordinate and oversee supplier-provided resources and delivery teams

• Manage and align internal AI resources for efficient execution

• Drive AI demand management and pipeline prioritisation with business leaders

• Engage stakeholders across business and technology functions to ensure alignment

• Establish and execute governance processes, reporting, and decision-making frameworks

• Monitor progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery performance

• Drive value realisation so AI investments generate measurable business outcomes

• Foster collaboration between technology teams, business functions, and external partners

• Support strategic planning and continuous improvement of AI capabilities and operating models

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience delivering AI, data, analytics, or digital transformation programmes

• Proven leadership experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives

• Strong experience in Utilities, Energy, or closely related sectors

• Demonstrated success managing external suppliers, consulting partners, and internal delivery teams

• Deep understanding of AI programme delivery, governance, prioritisation, and value management

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including senior leadership engagement

• Experience working within structured governance and portfolio management environments

• Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities
