Description

Design and build end-to-end data solutions from requirements to production for the Default Management lending domain. You will own data models and data pipelines with a focus on long-term reliability, stability, and maintainability. The role also encourages using AI-assisted development to improve efficiency, quality, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders to turn business problems into fit-for-purpose data solutions.

• Take ownership of delivery from requirements through production.

• Design and build data models and data pipelines.

• Set a high standard for long-term reliability, stability, and maintainability over quick fixes.

• Adopt AI to increase efficiency, maintainability, and reliability.

Requirements

• Strong experience in data engineering and data warehousing; strong understanding of modern data warehousing.

• Ability to design data warehouse solutions with a focus on simplicity and maintainability.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle and PL/SQL.

• Hands-on experience with DataStage.

• Comfortable taking full ownership from requirements to production.

• Ability to understand the business domain and translate problems into robust and maintainable data solutions.

• Solid experience with CI/CD, pipeline orchestration, and modern data engineering practices.
