Description

Join the Summer 2027 Data and Analytics Internship Program to work on real data and analytics projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will partner with stakeholders and IT to research and analyze data, apply statistical techniques to business problems, and communicate insights through visualizations for both business partners and less technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders, leadership, and IT to research, analyze, and deliver data solutions
• Mine data sources and make results easy to interpret through visuals and consumable formats
• Support project teams by developing and maintaining processes and contributing to in-time/scheduled metrics and reporting
• Apply statistical techniques to generate insights from business problems

Requirements

• Undergraduate: Currently pursuing or completed a degree in data, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
• Exposure to data analytics through coursework, previous internships, or work experience
• Involvement in student organizations, campus/community activities, or prior internship experience
• Exposure to Python, Snowflake, and/or Power BI
• Strong SQL knowledge
• Graduate-level (additional): Currently pursuing or completed a graduate degree in statistics, analytics, social sciences, or a related field
• Graduate-level (additional): Knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques
• Graduate-level (additional): Exposure to data visualization concepts and standard methodologies
• Graduate-level (preferred): Proficiency with one or more of: NLP, time series, propensity & uplift modeling, machine learning frameworks, graph algorithms
• Work authorization: Not considering applicants needing immigration sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or in the future

Benefits

• Hourly pay: $28–$32/hr (Undergraduate: $28–$30/hr; Graduate: $30–$32/hr)
• Internship stipend: $4,000 lump sum with tax gross-up
• Time off: Paid company holidays and required time off per state
• Work environment: In-office, hybrid, or remote (remote only if residing > 30 miles from Des Moines, IA / Charlotte, NC / Raleigh, NC)
