Description

Research Interns work with mentors and researchers to advance state-of-the-art machine learning and statistics, contributing to projects such as generative models, transfer learning, causal inference, reinforcement learning, and AI for science. During the internship, interns collaborate with fellow researchers, present findings, and contribute to the research community. The internship is 12 weeks and requires being physically located at the manager’s Microsoft worksite.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Doctorate Degree program in Computer Science or a related STEM field

• Physically located in the manager’s Microsoft worksite location for the internship duration

• Submit a minimum of two reference letters

• Submit a cover letter

• Provide relevant work or research samples

Benefits

• Base pay range: USD $6,810–$13,480 per month (other ranges apply for specific Bay Area and NYC locations)

• Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation
