Pleasanton, CA

Quick Facts

  • Role: Principal Product Manager – Digital Product Management (Customer & Commercial Product)

Description

Lead the evaluation and incubation of emerging digital product priorities across the Customer & Commercial Product organization. You will turn ambiguous opportunities into customer problems, hypotheses, value propositions, and decision criteria—then drive rapid validation with measurable success outcomes. Provide executive-ready recommendations and ensure validated priorities transition into staffed roadmap initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and incubate emerging priorities: prioritize, structure the minimum questions to answer, and recommend test/invest/defer/scale/stop decisions

  • Drive product discovery and rapid validation: collaborate with Product, Design, Analytics, Engineering, and business teams to generate evidence for investment and staffing decisions

  • Provide cross-functional product leadership: define customer problem, desired outcome, scope, tradeoffs, and path forward

  • Support portfolio prioritization: continuously reprioritize emerging priorities based on strategic importance, urgency, value, capacity, and dependencies

  • Coordinate alignment and execution: create workplans, milestones, decision points, ownership, and accountability; surface issues requiring leadership intervention

  • Build executive narratives: synthesize complex and incomplete inputs into clear, decision-oriented recommendations

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in product management or digital product with ownership of complex cross-functional initiatives

  • Senior/principal experience in large-scale digital, e-commerce, retail, or consumer technology preferred

  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems, identify key questions, and develop clear recommendations

  • Strong discovery and experimentation skills to validate customer and business assumptions with lightweight approaches

  • Proven ability to partner effectively with Engineering, Design, Analytics, and business teams

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive accountability without direct authority

  • Strong executive communication and synthesis skills

  • Ability to balance competing priorities and continuously reprioritize as business needs evolve

Benefits

  • Competitive wages paid weekly

  • Access to up to 50% of earned wages before payday (via Stream)

  • Associate discounts

  • Health and financial well-being benefits for eligible associates (Medical, Dental, 401k and more!)

  • Time off (vacation, holidays, sick pay); eligibility via myACI Benefits
