Description

You will provide technical support for end customers regarding service and operational matters (and, over time, clinical matters). The role includes troubleshooting, periodic inspections (revisions) of medical systems/devices, and service consultations with manufacturers in Czech and English (primarily in writing). You will also install medical systems/devices and train users using manuals and practical knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Technical support for end customers (service/operations; later clinical)

  • Troubleshooting and periodic inspections (revisions) of medical systems/devices

  • On-site work at customer locations and occasional work at company headquarters

  • Service consultations with manufacturers in Czech and English (primarily written)

  • Install medical systems/devices and provide user training

  • Work with “Pohoda” software (service/economic system for managing customer requests); onboarding provided

  • Use MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for daily work

Requirements

  • Valid B driving license (active driving)

  • Technical secondary education with maturita; preferred fields: electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunications, computing, or IT

  • Electrical competence per §6 NV č. 194/2022 Sb (electrical technician) or education/qualification enabling it (can be completed after start by agreement)

  • User knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • English knowledge to understand technical documentation and write technical communication; basic speaking during trainings/webinars

  • Basic IT knowledge: IP and MAC concepts, computer networks basics and structured cabling, desktop PC components, ability to work in Windows 10/11

  • Basic electrical engineering knowledge: current, voltage, resistance, power, basic circuits and protective devices (breakers, RCDs, fuses)

  • Technical/analytical thinking; independent problem solving per service/technical documentation

  • Willingness to continuously learn in medical equipment technology, electrical engineering, and IT

  • Criminal record integrity appropriate for the role (criminal record extract required)

  • Health fitness for the job

  • Advantage: experience in a similar technical position and knowledge of healthcare environment/department structure
