• Role: Product Designer (in-person, NYC – Flatiron)

Description

Design and redesign user-agent interactions across multiple surfaces for AI-powered workflows. You’ll create agent-ready UI primitives that agents can assemble, edit, and explain in real time, and partner with product design to integrate working agents into new and existing products.

Responsibilities

• Build and redesign user-agent interactions across multiple surfaces, from first sketch to polished release
• Invent agent-ready UI primitives that agents can assemble, edit, and explain in real time
• Partner closely with product design to ship working agents seamlessly into new and existing products
• Understand accounting users through deep user empathy (including spending part of your time doing accounting work)
• Collaborate with founders on a long-term vision and distill it into quarterly bets
• Learn quickly across accounting, emergent LLM abilities, and UX for generally intelligent software—then turn insights into product decisions

Requirements

• 4–8 years designing complex SaaS or AI tooling, with at least one 0→1 launch
• First-principles problem solving and ability to rebuild without legacy bias
• Agent-native prototyping experience with LLMs and ability to explain UX changes
• Regular use of AI for your own work (learning, brainstorming, writing, research)
• Willingness to work in-person in NYC (preference for five days/week)
• Fast learning velocity for new domains and technologies
• Comfortable workflow from whiteboard sketches to Figma polishing
• Autonomy and ownership—comfortable making decisions and owning problems end-to-end
