Description

Lead creative direction and production of visual communication assets across online and print channels. Design website and blog assets, create project art (including sketch illustration and photo manipulation), and support interactive content such as email and landing page graphics. Partner on HubSpot email templates (design, layout, HTML coding, and troubleshooting) while helping maintain brand guidelines, design inventories, and project approvals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead creative direction and production for ads (online/print), online newsletters, landing pages, social media assets, and email communications
  • Design and develop online assets for websites and blog content
  • Create art for projects, including sketch illustration and photo manipulation; prepare mechanical files for print when required
  • Collaborate with the Content Manager on interactive content: email design assets, branded site web pages, 3rd-party retailer graphics, presentation materials, and platform-customized social graphics
  • Support the creation and implementation of HubSpot email templates (design, layout, HTML coding, troubleshooting)
  • Oversee and maintain design asset inventories
  • Assist with setup and direction for photo shoots and video shoots
  • Act as a project manager by coordinating review and approvals
  • Select and manage outside vendors; review and approve press proofs and invoices
  • Manage and update brand guideline documents and ensure compliance with internal teams and external vendors
  • Follow workplace safety practices and participate in safety programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in web/graphic/commercial art (or related) plus 3+ years of professional design experience (or equivalent education and relevant experience)
  • Strong graphic design skills with a professional portfolio
  • Advanced presentation design and layout skills
  • Web design and HTML coding experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign CC, Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Illustrator CC, font management software, and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple brands and projects with strict deadlines
  • Ability to translate marketing strategies into clear, concise, appealing brand-consistent visuals
  • Strong type, design, color, and concept fundamentals
  • Ability to apply AI-assisted design workflows and solve creative problems
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to lead and work collaboratively in teams
  • Proven decision-making within established guidelines and strong attention to detail
