  • In-person attendance at least 3 days per week (Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY)

Description

Own end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution for Capital Markets product lines that expand retail access to private-market opportunities, including IPO allocations, private-company exposure, and alternative investments. Lead 0–1 launches and translate ambiguous regulatory, operational, and partner requirements into dependable in-app customer experiences. Partner with legal, compliance, operations, and external issuers/underwriters/fund administrators to ship shared products, using research, experimentation, and analytics to guide decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Own strategy, roadmap, and execution for one Capital Markets product line; contribute to shared strategy across all three
  • Lead 0–1 launches, including in-app experiences for investing in single private assets and discovery surfaces for first-time investors
  • Translate regulatory, operational, and partner requirements into clear customer experiences with legal/compliance/operations
  • Build and manage external partner relationships to ensure shared products ship
  • Set a quality bar where confusing flows do not cost customers money or trust
  • Use research, experimentation, and product analytics to decide what to build and prove what worked
  • Communicate strategy, tradeoffs, and rationale to senior leadership

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience building and shipping high-quality consumer or consumer fintech products
  • Track record of shipping 0–1 products at scale beyond prototypes and pilots
  • Comfort with complex financial products; ability to become an expert quickly in new instruments, offering structures, and regulatory regimes
  • Experience working with legal, compliance, operations, or other regulated-product stakeholders; judgment to push vs. redesign
  • Experience working with third-party partners on large-scale projects to deliver shared products
  • Strong product judgment and ability to convert ambiguous opportunities into clear strategy, roadmap, and execution plan
  • Ability to operate in unclear 0–1 situations while sustaining a high quality bar under real-time pressure
  • Demonstrated history using research, experimentation, and analytics for decision-making
  • Clear communication and relationship management skills across cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Passion for democratizing finance and excitement about opening an asset class closed to most investors
  • Experience/proficiency building with latest AI tools such as Claude Code, Gemini, Cursor, or ChatGPT
  • Nice to have: familiarity with private markets or alternatives (e.g., closed-end funds, BDCs, interval funds, SPVs, Reg D offerings, or IPO/ECM process)

Benefits

  • Bonus opportunities, equity, and benefits in addition to base pay
  • Base pay range depends on location/compensation zone (Zone 1: $166,000–$195,000; Zone 2: $146,000–$172,000; Zone 3: $129,000–$152,000)
