Description

Help drive the development of next-generation ultrasound technology by creating innovative test solutions and validating the hardware and software that power life-changing healthcare products. Design, develop, and maintain test software, scripts, and methodologies on custom test equipment to analyze and validate prototype ultrasound transducers.

Responsibilities

• Own the test development process from concept through implementation for emerging ultrasound technologies

• Investigate performance issues, perform root-cause analysis, and troubleshoot hardware/software validation problems with cross-disciplinary teams

• Lead the transfer of test methods, protocols, and procedures from R&D into manufacturing to ensure test readiness and knowledge sharing

• Write and execute verification and validation protocols and reports; continuously improve test processes to enhance product quality, reliability, and manufacturing effectiveness

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred

• 6+ years of experience in test engineering, electrical/electronics engineering, hardware validation, or related field

• Strong software development skills in Python and C-based languages (C, C++, C#)

• Experience developing test software for hardware validation

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, technical writing, and collaboration skills for cross-functional work

• US work authorization required (no visa sponsorship)

• Must reside in or within commuting distance to Cambridge, MA
