Description

You will help build a new Testing department within software development, improving software stability and quality. The role focuses on executing manual and automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end, system, regression), planning test scope, and maintaining test cases, test plans, and test strategies. You will deliver documented defect analysis to development and collaborate in agile ceremonies while also supporting 2nd/3rd-level support.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high software quality across functionality, UX, security, performance, and reliability

• Run manual and automated tests: Unit, Integration, End-to-End, System, Regression

• Plan test coverage based on requirements and risk

• Define and maintain test cases, test plans, and test strategies

• Hand off documented defect analysis to the development team

• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews

• Support 2nd- and 3rd-level support

Requirements

• Relevant vocational training (e.g., IT specialist) or degree in a related field, or comparable qualification

• Minimum 3 years of experience

• Experience in software test automation plus integration tests and unit tests

• Strong programming skills in JavaScript and C#

• Ideally ISTQB certification

• Teamwork and independence; openness to new methods and approaches

• German C2 plus good German and English skills

• Knowledge/experience with SCRUM/agile methods
