Description

Manage medical information and communication for assigned marketed products by ensuring prompt, accurate, and scientifically/medically balanced responses to unsolicited medical inquiries. Oversee medical response materials (FAQs, standard response letters) and provide medical/scientific review of promotional and training materials to support compliance with FDA regulations and guidance. Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Regulatory, Marketing, Clinical Research, Market Access, Sales, and other Medical Affairs teams to support ongoing medically related activities and external communications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a library of standard medical response documents (responses, FAQs)

  • Perform medical/scientific review of promotional and sales training materials in collaboration with Legal/Regulatory (Promotional Advertising Review Committee)

  • Direct external Contact Center staff on handling unsolicited requests; provide FAQs and unique responses as needed

  • Mentor medical information staff and serve as a resource

  • Respond verbally to healthcare professional and consumer inquiries as needed

  • Review Contact Center cases to identify training needs

  • Support Quality Control activities, including monitoring phone calls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance

  • Provide medical/scientific review of submissions through the Teva Healthcare Interactions Portal (HIP), including payments to external HCPs

  • Act as primary medical review point of contact for external communication materials (e.g., press releases, announcements) and coordinate review with leadership

  • Support review and distribution of formulary dossiers through the external Contact Center (GHEOV)

  • Develop/review/maintain product and disease-related slide kits

  • Provide medical information support for Marketing and Sales Training (advisory boards and speaker training materials)

  • Support medical/scientific conferences and prepare internal/external presentations

  • Provide strategic input to NAMA Medical teams and Medical Affairs operating plans for assigned products

  • Review product labeling/monographs for inclusion in compendia (e.g., PDR, NCCN Guidelines, AHFS-DI)

  • Assist management with overall department development and implement solutions independently

Requirements

  • Education/Experience: R.Ph. or R.N. with 5+ years in medical information or related roles involving writing, communication, and scientific skills

  • OR Education/Experience: M.S., Pharm.D., or Ph.D. with 3+ years in medical information or related roles involving writing, communication, and scientific skills

  • 3–5 years of experience in medical information or related area

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite; ability to navigate the internet and use search engines

  • Attention to detail and strong documentation skills

  • Scientific expertise in assigned therapeutic areas

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication

  • Adequate experience with computer programs and database systems

  • Strong working knowledge of the FDA Code of Federal Regulations and relevant FDA guidance documents

Salary

Annual starting salary range: $120,320–$150,400.
