Description

You will work on analyzing requirements and developing and maintaining the backend portion of an application in Java. The role includes debugging and incident resolution, performance optimization (including database queries), code reviews with quality standards, and keeping technical documentation up to date. You will also collaborate with testers to verify and test new releases.

Responsibilities

• Understand the architecture and operation of the existing system
• Analyze requirements and propose adjustments or new functionalities
• Develop and maintain the backend of the application in Java
• Identify and fix bugs; resolve operational incidents
• Optimize application performance and database queries
• Perform code reviews and follow code quality standards
• Create and continuously update technical documentation
• Work with testers to validate and test new versions
• Collaborate with the development team

Requirements

• Experience programming in Java
• Experience with relational databases
