Description

Lead and build robust, scalable Java backend applications in the finance domain, applying Agile practices and TDD. Provide architectural support and technical design leadership, while helping maintain a stable production environment by resolving issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications

• Design infrastructure and network topology solutions

• Apply best development practices and effectively use technologies

• Provide expertise and architectural assistance to other team members

• Work with users to gather requirements

• Resolve production issues and support production stability

• Lead technical design discussions with other Java developers

• Ensure the development methodology is followed across the team

Requirements

• 5+ years designing and implementing Java-based backend applications

• Java 8, Spring, and Spring Boot

• Database design and SQL, including query optimization

• Object-oriented analysis and design; design patterns; clean code principles

• Understanding of OOD, TDD, BDD, DDD, and CI/CD concepts

• IntelliJ IDEA, Git, Gradle

• Familiarity with Maven, Jenkins, and JIRA

• Debugging and performance tuning; understanding deployment, maintenance, and monitoring

• Knowledge of modern technical architectures

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good written and verbal English communication
