Description

Design, develop, and maintain Policy-as-Code governance solutions using Open Policy Agent (OPA) and Rego for cloud-native environments. Integrate policy enforcement into CI/CD pipelines to enable secure, compliant software delivery and automate policy validation, testing, and deployment across multiple environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Policy-as-Code solutions using Open Policy Agent (OPA) and Rego
  • Integrate policy enforcement into CI/CD pipelines
  • Develop reusable policy frameworks for infrastructure, Kubernetes, APIs, and cloud platforms
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to implement governance and compliance controls
  • Automate policy validation, testing, and deployment across multiple environments
  • Troubleshoot policy-related issues and optimize policy performance
  • Contribute to software design, code reviews, testing, and documentation following engineering best practices
  • Stay current with emerging trends in cloud security, Policy-as-Code, and DevSecOps

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with Open Policy Agent (OPA) and Rego
  • Experience implementing Policy-as-Code frameworks in enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar)
  • Experience with Git-based version control and automation
  • Knowledge of cloud-native technologies, containers, and Kubernetes
  • Strong programming/scripting skills in Go, Python, or Java
  • Understanding of DevSecOps practices and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Legal work permit in Poland

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Kubernetes admission controllers and policy enforcement
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance frameworks
