Description

Own the recommendation platforms (online and offline/batch) that decide what each user sees and when—across the app and communication channels. Set a unified vision across real-time and batch systems, powering offers, content, stories, and personalized notifications. Guide a generational architecture shift while building reusable capabilities that unlock AI and personalization programs and extend them across the Consumer Group brands.

Role description

• Own the vision and long-term strategy for recommendation platforms (real-time and batch).
• Power real-time personalization at scale by orchestrating eligibility, business rules, model scoring, and ranking.
• Drive offline/batch recommendations that generate personalized content for notifications and other channels.
• Unify online and offline platforms on a shared roadmap so cross-channel learnings compound.
• Build reusable, self-serve platform primitives for faster shipping by data science and product teams.
• Modernize the recommendation architecture by migrating surfaces, scaling model serving/inference, decompose legacy components, and reduce technical debt.
• Extend recommendation capabilities across Consumer Group brands.
• Translate ambiguous needs into clear requirements, decision documents, and roadmaps; own strategy through execution and measurement.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience owning technical platform or infrastructure products in cross-functional environments
• Deep technical fluency in APIs, distributed and real-time systems, and ML platform architecture
• Experience with recommendation systems, ranking, personalization, or ML platforms (e.g., model serving/inference, feature stores, experimentation)
• Proven ability to ship platform capabilities at scale across multiple teams
• Strong reusable platform thinking (primitives, not one-off solutions)
• Experience partnering with data science/ML teams to move models from concept to production
• Track record of translating complex problems into decision documents and roadmaps that drive stakeholder alignment
• Excellent written and verbal communication for both executive narratives and technical specs
• Outcomes-motivated with comfort in ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities
