Description

Design and develop electrical control boxes (e-boxes) for development and production of refrigeration systems, including technical support for customers, production, and the engineering lab. Optimize control systems and logic, create wiring documentation and BOMs, and ensure electro-documentation complies with European legislation. Define test specifications for qualification testing of the electrical part/system and drive component and cost optimization through benchmarking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design electrical boxes for refrigeration system development and production

• Provide technical support to customers and production; support the engineering lab

• Optimize control systems and control logic

• Create test specifications and qualification testing for the product electrical part/system

• Create wiring diagrams for documentation enabling serial production of e-boxes and cables

• Define BOMs for e-boxes; define functional and verification tests to ensure wiring meets valid regulatory requirements

• Ensure electro-documentation and products comply with European legislation

• Optimize and reduce component costs

• Design e-boxes required for specific development testing

• Coordinate with other locations and teams; report to upper management

• Perform product benchmarking

• Support building and development of environmental management systems, fire protection, and health & safety in the assigned area

• Observe health, safety, and environmental rules; prevent emergencies and threats to the environment and workplace safety

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering

• 5 years of electrical design experience in an industrial environment

• “Vedouci Eletrotechnik” attest according to §7 NV 194/2022Sb

• Experience with product certification processes

• Good understanding of electrical circuits

• Good understanding and orientation in electro-documentation

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• English proficiency: B2

• Daily MS Office user (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

• Project planning and tracking experience

• Systematic approach to problem solving
