Description

Design the architecture of large enterprise information systems relied upon by hundreds of thousands of users. Decide on technical solutions for system integrations, interface design, cloud architecture in Azure or AWS, security, and data architecture using both relational and NoSQL databases. Work closely with analysts, developers, project managers, and other architects to ensure the proposed architecture is technically implementable.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture design for large-scale information systems
• Decide on the technical solution for interface design and its approach
• Design cloud-environment solutions in Azure or AWS
• Map security requirements into the architectural solution
• Design data architecture over relational and NoSQL databases
• Lead or significantly influence architectural decisions on integration and implementation projects
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, project managers, and other technical roles
• For selected projects, propose solutions for environments with large data foundations and high user counts

Requirements

• Experience in architecture and solution design for larger information system environments
• Experience designing and implementing integration solutions for multiple systems
• Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns
• Orientation in Azure or AWS cloud technologies
• Proficiency in BPM and BPMN process modeling
• Experience designing interfaces/specifications in OpenAPI or Avro format
• Practical experience with OAuth 2.0, WS-Security, mTLS, or PKI
• Experience with combined relational and NoSQL databases in large data environments
• Orientation in software development and ability to connect architecture with technical implementation
• Ability to lead or significantly influence architectural decisions in larger integration/implementation projects
• University degree

Preferred Qualifications

• TOGAF or ArchiMate certifications
• Experience with process analysis and technical realization design in BPEL
