Description

You will design the data architecture for a data warehouse, BI, and data integration based on business requirements collected from stakeholders. The role includes defining and maintaining standards (data modeling, integration, naming, data flows, and architectural documentation), modeling AS-IS/TO-BE business processes into the target data solution architecture, and designing DWH, data marts, and semantic layers. You will also oversee ETL/ELT and data integration, ensure data quality and completeness for reporting and analytics, help shape Data Governance, coordinate with developers, and participate in UAT/acceptance to confirm architectural compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design data architecture for DWH, BI, and data integration

• Define and maintain standards: data modeling, integration, naming, data flows, architectural documentation

• Model business processes AS-IS / TO-BE and translate them into target data architecture

• Design solutions for data warehouses, data marts, and semantic layers

• Design data models/structures and ensure organization-wide consistency

• Design and supervise ETL/ELT processes and integration with internal/external systems

• Prepare and oversee architectural documentation (source maps, business/technical glossaries, diagrams) in Enterprise Architect

• Ensure quality, consistency, and completeness of data used for reporting/analytics

• Co-create Data Governance rules (data classification, ownership, quality control)

• Coordinate closely with the development team and provide technology guidance during delivery

• Participate in UAT and project acceptance from the perspective of architectural compliance

Requirements

• Technical degree related to the role (e.g., Informatics, Data Engineering, Data Analytics/Big Data)

• At least 5 years of experience as a data/solution architect (not only analytics)

• Experience designing data warehouse and BI architectures from scratch or in a large modernization

• Experience working with large datasets

• Very good knowledge of ETL/ELT and data integration patterns

• Very good knowledge of databases, SQL, and relational databases

• Knowledge of distributed computing clusters

• Documented experience in designing and documenting multi-layer service architectures

• Ability to conduct architecture workshops and define design standards/principles

• Knowledge of UML and BPMN; experience creating architectural-level specifications

• Experience with Enterprise Architect

• Ability to work at the business–IT–analytics interface and coordinate multiple teams

• Experience collaborating directly with business/clients at decision-making level
