Description

Lead end-to-end delivery of data transformation projects, coordinating a team of ETL/ELT engineers and managing delivery roadmaps, priorities, and resources. Translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions, design ETL processes using data engineering best practices, and oversee data documentation and lineage. Ensure production stability by managing technology risks and coordinating incident and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery for data transformation projects

• Coordinate the ETL/ELT engineering team (3–10 people)

• Plan delivery roadmap, prioritize tasks, and manage resources

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to define requirements

• Translate business needs into functional and technical solutions

• Design ETL processes following data engineering best practices

• Oversee documentation of data processes, data lineage, and technical specifications

• Manage technological risk and ensure stability of the production environment

• Coordinate incident handling, tickets, and maintenance activities

Requirements

• Experience in Data Engineering

• Experience leading IT projects and coordinating delivery of solutions

• Ability to analyze business requirements and create functional and technical documentation

• Experience with ETL tools such as DataStage, Informatica, or Talend

• Very good knowledge of GCP, Oracle, Python, Spark, and Shell Scripting

• Experience with Data Warehouse, data integration, or data migration projects

• Ability to collaborate with technical and business teams in an international environment
