Description

Work with the project development team to analyze stakeholder requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality Murex outcomes. You will support functional delivery with testing (SIT/UAT), manage Murex environments together with infrastructure teams, and ensure the production impact of changes is understood. You will also monitor application performance, troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, and facilitate a smooth handover to Business-As-Usual after releases.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze stakeholder requirements and formulate designs to meet project targets

  • Deliver and support Murex solutions while managing functional delivery quality

  • Perform testing and participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)

  • Communicate principles, standards, and roadmaps to stakeholders

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders

  • Report progress, issues, and risks to management and stakeholders

  • Understand and manage production impact of new changes

  • Ensure deep collaboration among project members

  • Oversee Murex environments alongside database, backup, network, and security teams

  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues

  • Conduct infrastructure reviews and redesign workflows for efficiency

  • Manage hardware and software requirements for Murex releases

  • Provide application monitoring support and ensure optimal performance across environments

  • Facilitate smooth handover to Business-As-Usual post-release

Requirements

  • BS or higher degree in Economics, Finance, or a related scientific field

  • Detail-oriented, quick learner, and self-starter

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a system/business analyst or consultant/developer in Murex

  • Previous project experience in financial services, particularly investment banking and risk management

  • Solid experience gathering and writing requirements and functional specifications

  • Expertise in Murex system architecture

  • Proficient in shell scripting for automation and data management within Linux environments

  • Database knowledge, particularly Oracle/SQL for managing Murex data

  • Proven experience with Murex EOD batch configuration and troubleshooting

  • Comfortable working in both Linux and Windows environments

  • Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries for data management

  • Experience performing regular maintenance activities to ensure system reliability
