Description

Administer and automate Linux server environments supporting critical payment and issuer processing applications. Ensure high availability, security, and performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution while supporting migration planning and execution. Implement cryptography solutions (PKI/PGP) and manage IP network configurations, documenting procedures for BAU and migrations.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RedHat, Oracle Linux) for payment/issuer processing applications

• Automate infrastructure deployment and management with Rundeck and Ansible

• Diagnose, monitor, and improve system performance to maintain uptime and security

• Collaborate with Application & Middleware teams on BAU activities, migration planning, and environment setup

• Resolve technical issues quickly and document procedures using Confluence

• Support project managers with building, testing, and executing data center migration activities

• Implement cryptography (PKI, PGP) and manage IP network configurations

• Handle incident resolution to keep business-critical systems resilient and reliable

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Linux system administration experience (payment/high-transaction environments preferred)

• Strong Linux skills with RedHat and Oracle Linux

• Experience with application servers: JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, OHS, WildFly, Spring Boot

• Hands-on automation experience using Ansible and Rundeck

• Knowledge of cryptography (PKI, PGP) and IP network management

• Bash or Python scripting proficiency

• Ability to quickly understand complex infrastructure

• Analytical/problem-solving mindset

• Fluent Polish and English (written and spoken)

• EU work authorization with a current legal right to work
