Description

Join an international team to build and maintain cloud-based data solutions on AWS using Databricks. You will support the migration of existing data processes from Matillion to Databricks and help evolve the analytics platform architecture. Optimize ETL/ELT pipelines and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Data Engineering tasks in the client environment
• Develop and maintain Databricks-based solutions
• Participate in migrating processes from Matillion to Databricks
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes
• Collaborate with the development team and business stakeholders
• Analyze business requirements and map them to technology
• Identify improvement opportunities and propose new solutions
• Support standardization of data solutions across the organization
• Contribute to building an AWS-based modern data platform
• Share knowledge and provide subject-matter support within the team
• Participate actively in technology decision-making
• Collaborate with teams from Europe and the USA

Requirements

• Commercial experience as a Data Engineer
• Practical knowledge of Databricks
• AWS experience
• Very good Python knowledge
• Experience with ETL and ELT
• Experience building, developing, and maintaining data platforms
• Practical knowledge of Amazon Redshift
• Experience with modern Data & Analytics solutions
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Proactive problem-solving and process improvement mindset
• Very good communication skills
• Independence and accountability for tasks
• English at minimum B2+
