Description

Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT pipelines and enterprise data warehouse solutions in a cloud-based analytics environment. Develop warehouse layers and dimensional models, implement fact tables and slowly changing dimensions, and create transformations with dbt while orchestrating workflows with Apache Airflow. Build and optimize SQL for Redshift and support migration from Cloudera to the MinIO ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain ELT pipelines from source systems (Cloudera/MinIO) to Amazon S3 and Amazon Redshift
  • Build and maintain data warehouse layers (Staging, Intermediate, Business View, Dimensional Models)
  • Implement fact tables (Transactional, Accumulating Snapshot, Periodic Snapshot)
  • Implement Slowly Changing Dimensions Type 1 and Type 2
  • Create data transformations using dbt and orchestrate workflows with Apache Airflow
  • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries (including inner, self, and outer joins)
  • Load, transform, and optimize data in Amazon Redshift
  • Process data in Amazon S3 and Apache Iceberg tables on the MinIO platform
  • Support migration of pipelines from Cloudera to MinIO
  • Collaborate with architects, data modelers, and business teams

Requirements

  • EU citizenship and residence in Poland
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, dbt, and Apache Airflow
  • Advanced SQL skills (inner, self, left, right, full outer joins)
  • Strong data warehousing knowledge: fact/dimension modeling, SCD Type 1/Type 2, ETL/ELT best practices
  • Experience with Kimball dimensional modeling
  • Working knowledge of Cloudera, MinIO, and Apache Iceberg
  • English proficiency
