Description

Gather and analyze business reporting requirements with stakeholders and translate them into Power BI reporting solutions. Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions, including optimizing DAX measures and semantic data models. Ensure KPI consistency and deliver usable, performant reporting by working with data engineering and iterating based on feedback.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business reporting requirements with stakeholders from Finance, Sales, Logistics, and Operations
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions
• Create and optimize DAX measures, calculations, and semantic data models
• Translate business needs into reporting solutions and ensure KPI consistency across the organization
• Understand business KPIs to deliver meaningful dashboards and analytical insights
• Work with data engineering teams to validate data and ensure high-quality reporting
• Improve reports and dashboards based on business feedback and changing requirements
• Prepare and maintain documentation for reporting solutions, KPIs, and data models
• Ensure quality, usability, and performance of Power BI reporting solutions

Requirements

• Solid professional experience as a BI Developer, with a strong focus on Power BI
• Fluent German (C1) and good command of English
• Strong experience in developing Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models
• Very good knowledge of DAX, SQL, and data modelling
• Experience working with SAP data and reporting solutions
• Experience working with business stakeholders and translating business requirements into reporting solutions
• Ability to understand business KPIs
• Ability to work with large datasets and ensure data quality
• Experience with Databricks or Azure data environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
