Description

You will gather, analyze, and document business requirements in German and communicate with stakeholders to manage expectations. You will translate business needs into effective reporting and data solutions, designing and implementing Power BI reports and dashboards. The role also includes building semantic models, creating DAX measures, preparing data with Power Query, publishing and maintaining content in Power BI Service, and optimizing performance while partnering with Data Engineering and Data Warehouse teams.

Responsibilities

• Independently gather, analyze, and document business requirements
• Communicate with stakeholders in German and manage their expectations
• Translate business needs into reporting and data solutions
• Design, develop, and implement Power BI reports and dashboards
• Build data models and semantic models
• Create calculations and measures using DAX
• Transform and prepare data using Power Query
• Work with Power BI Service (publish, manage, and maintain reports and datasets)
• Monitor and optimize report and data model performance
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Warehouse teams
• Support BI solution implementation from requirements gathering through delivery
• Manage tasks independently and proactively drive work forward

Requirements

• Strong practical knowledge of Power BI
• Very good command of DAX and Power Query
• Experience in data modelling and building semantic models
• Good knowledge of Power BI Service
• Experience in performance optimisation of reports and data models
• Ability to independently gather, analyze, and document business requirements
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working with Data Engineering and Data Warehouse teams
• Ability to combine business analysis with technical implementation
• Proactive, self-driven, and well-organised approach to work
• Fluent German (mandatory)
• Very good English
