Description

The Network Operations Center (NOC) Level 3 Engineer serves as the highest escalation point for complex network incidents, helping ensure service availability and driving continuous improvement in operational efficiency. The role provides advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident restoration leadership, with oversight of third-party providers and adherence to ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Level 3 escalation point for critical network incidents and complex technical issues

• Provide technical oversight of network operations by third-party service providers to ensure compliance with standards and SLAs

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis across various infrastructures

• Lead major incident restoration activities for rapid service recovery

• Collaborate with lower-level teams to enhance operational efficiency and resolve recurring issues

• Support a 24x7 operational environment as part of the on-call rotation

• Provide regional support for EMEA, including IT room design and equipment selection

• Maintain comprehensive technical and operational documentation

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise network operations or engineering roles

• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN and Palo Alto next-generation firewalls

• Proven knowledge of BGP routing protocols and Cisco Catalyst technologies

• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, network security, and high-availability architectures
